Participants must meet the following criteria in order to be eligible.
Grant Limit
No more than one grant per household is allowed. Household is defined by 2023 tax filing and will be verified by the 2023 Tax Return Transcript. Individuals that file taxes together would be considered to be in the same household.
All income-qualified Sacramento residents are qualified for a grant. If you live in a disadvantaged community, you may be eligible for the maximum grant amount. You may check your status here.
1. Income
Your household income falls within one of the specified income brackets.

2. Vehicle
- Own and operate a vehicle that is 15 Model years or older (Example: Current Year 2024 = 2009 Year Model or older)
- Registered in California for at least the past 2 Years
- Has a California Title
