COVID-19

General Information

Consistent with the State of California allowing businesses to return to usual operations, Sac Metro Air District offices are once again open to the public. Business hours are Monday - Thursday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. 

Safety protocols such as requiring the wearing of face coverings, practicing physical distancing, and limiting the number of visitors at one time will continue to be in place for the time being. As the number of District staff on-site gradually increases the District will continue to offer telephone consultations and allow submission of documents by email, which has proven to be desirable methods of conducting business for many of the customers the District serves.

Business Resources

Permit Applications & Fees

Permit applications can be submitted electronically, by mail, or by dropping documents at the District's main office. Fee payments can be made by eCheck, credit/debit card, and other payment methods by selecting the “payments” link at the top of the District’s website or by mailing a check.

Asbestos Notifications

The District continues to process asbestos notifications and review projects.  All asbestos forms may be submitted via email:  asbestos@airquality.org
