The SMAQMD Board will consider the adoption of proposed amendments to Rule 207 - TITLE V - FEDERAL OPERATING PERMIT PROGRAM. Rule 207 sets procedures for reviewing and issuing federal operating permits to new and existing sources. Staff is proposing amendments to Rule 207 to meet federal Title V requirements of 40 CFR Part 70. The primary purpose of the proposed amendments is to incorporate greenhouse gas (GHG) requirements. This rule will be submitted to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency as an amendment to 40 CFR 70 Appendix A for California Section (w).
