Notice is hereby given that Thursday, July 28, 2011 at 9:30 a.m. has been set as the date and time to hold a public hearing to consider the final District budget for fiscal year 2011/2012.

District Rules 301 & 310 (Stationary and Agricultural Permit Fees), Rule 304 (Plan Fees) and Rule 311 (Agricultural Registration Fees), and California Health & Safety Code Sections 42311 and 41512.7 authorize an annual fee increase linked to the consumer price index (CPI). On April 26, 2011 sources were notified that a CPI increase was recommended for the proposed fiscal year 2011/2012. At the May 26, 2011 hearing, the Board of Directors instructed staff to remove the proposed CPI fee increase from the final budget.

The final budget hearing will be conducted at the Board Chambers, 700 H Street, Sacramento. A summary of the District’s budget will be available upon your request.
